Excursion that combines the beauty of the landscape with fun and exciting rides on soft and easy grounds. Starting from the Traina farm, after a few kilometers we see Raia Lake and after passing the dam we find ourselves immersed in an atmosphere of quiet and almost surreal silence. In favorable climatic situations it is also possible to walk, in shallow waters, some stretches bordering the lake shore.

This reservoir, of artificial origin, dates back to the times of fascism, a period in which Mussolini built dams and hydroelectric power plants, still existing and functioning, especially in the Sicilian territory, where a rich presence of natural water sources has always existed. Framing this experience are some of the typical scenarios of the Sicani Mountains: the rocky massif of Rocca Busambra to the north, overlooking the Bosco della Ficuzza Reserve, Colomba Mountains to the west, adjacent to the territory of the city of Corleone, the town of Prizzi, on a mountainous area to the east, and the Indisi Mountains, Hippana and Roses Mountains that overlooks the town of Palazzo Adriano on the southern side.
